This site—Actually Represented—is to demonstrate a version of self-districting. Instead of politicians and voting rights activists fighting over where to draw district lines, let the voters decide their districts.

Who is it good for?

How does it work?

The tabulation system uses "ranked approvals," a similar process to the method of equal shares. The main differences are instead of everyone getting a piece of a fixed budget, they each get one ballot (or vote) and parties can win more than once.

With this system, whatever party has the most points per round wins a seat provided they meet the minimum number of points needed. As with all self-districting methods, any district without enough party members to fill it will be a general (party-unaffiliated) district.
